DIY Tent Sandbox
Summer is here and those littles are driving you up a wall aren’t they? Here is a great idea to keep them entertained and influence their little imaginations!
A DIY sandbox is easy to set up and this one, not only allows you to keep pets out when not in use, it provides shade for those wee ones.
First you will need a tent; waterproof bottom is a good choice, but you can place a shower curtain under it to protect it better. One with screened windows will provide ventilation, and a top sunshade with screen will be even better.
The Happy Camper 2-Person Tent is a good choice at $22 and good reviews.
If you have an old tent then that’s even better (You can’t beat FREE!) You could also check out the following options:
Next comes the sand, and a lesson in math.
50 lbs covers about 1/2 a cubic foot.
*For a 4ft square tent you will need about 8 bags, for 3inches deep ( of sand)
Many of the blogs I’ve read say about 5 bags.
Now head over to the Dollar Tree for some sand toys and a bucket and you’re ready to play!
You can find these deals on our Daily deals blog

Dollar tree has the cutest decals, however my grands cannot
stop peeling them off the wall.
I took 3 canvases, painted them and added the decals, and then decoupaged them.
